Umasake is a Japanese sake website that I'm running. The website has more than 100,000 visitors monthly. It's all about sake, and written for sake beginners in Japan.
Basically, its business model is an affiliate. So the conversion (CV) of the site is a click on a particular link on specific pages.
I analyzed this website to know the things I need to do to optimize it.
Resource is limited.
I spent lots of time when its startup phase, but currently I need to put my effort into an English version of the Japanese sake website. Thus, the time I can spend for the Japanese website is limited now. I want to know the tasks that I need to tackle with and prioritize those.
I analyzed the website using Google Analytics. I analyzed this website using data because I can have an objective opinion about this website. That is a strong advantage of web analytics. And I used Google Analytics because it is free, it has enough functions for this project, and I’m familiar with Google Analytics — I have a GAIQ certificate from Google Analytics —.
